How does the STAR Awards programme work?

We want everyone on the lookout for examples where individuals and teams are demonstrating excellent safety behaviours and performance and achieving an injury-free outcome for our people.

This could include:

• taking personal responsibility or leadership in safety beyond business as usual
• project-related initiatives
• introducing improvements in our operating processes
• better design of our assets
• innovation in a work practice or process to improve safety, and many other examples.

Anyone can nominate an individual or team or your team leader for a STAR Award, but you cannot nominate yourself or your own team.
