Sustainability

Through our Statement of Corporate Intent, Transpower commits to incorporating sustainability into our business activities and working with key stakeholders to promote sustainable outcomes for the electricity sector.
To Transpower, being sustainable means ensuring our activities and those of our suppliers incorporate good practice, meet stakeholder needs, are safe and consider environmental impacts, both now and into the future.
Objective
To operate Transpower as a sustainable business where environmental, economic and stakeholder considerations are embedded into all business activities and decisions.
Our Commitment
We are committed to improving Transpower's sustainability. We will achieve this by:
- Identifying and pursuing opportunities for improving our sustainability
- Working with stakeholders and the community to consider their needs
- Developing targets and prioritising actions to improve our sustainability
