Safety comes first at Transpower. We are committed to achieving an injury-free workplace for our employees and service providers.
Our STAR (Safety Thanks And Recognition) Awards recognise the importance of safety in our business and promote a positive safety and health culture in our industry. The Awards are open to all Transpower, contractor and sub contractor and consultant employees.
STAR awards are held every two years. Typically, nominations are open for a three-month period, and the awards ceremony is held one to two months following. The awards dinner is an exciting evening event attended by representatives from throughout the industry.
The awards focus on thanks and recognition for teams and individuals, and provide a high level of visibility to those who achieve awards.
Everyone who is selected as a finalist will receive a letter from our Chief Executive Alison Andrew. Winners will be announced at a Safety Awards event.
STAR Award trophies are presented to winners in all categories. Individual winners receive a cash prize of $500, and team winners receive $1500 towards a team event.
The 2016 STAR Awards will be held at Rydges Hotel in Auckland on 29 September. Event start time (pre-drinks) is 6:30pm, with presentations starting at 7:00pm.
Tickets are now sold out. If you have any questions about the event, please contact our event team at firstname.lastname@example.org.
