The STAR Awards
Through our STAR Awards we show our thanks and give recognition to the people who build, operate and maintain the National Grid – the people who are keeping the lights on for everyone in New Zealand. The STAR Awards – which stands for ‘Safety Thanks And Recognition’ – champion best practice in health, safety and wellbeing in work on Aotearoa’s National Grid.
The Engineering and Technology Excellence Awards
Our chance to celebrate our engineering and technology specialists who demonstrate excellence and deliver outstanding solutions that empower the energy future - our staff, service providers, consultants, contractors and sub-contractors.
Engineering and technology work sits at the very core of what we do at Transpower. As the owner and operator of New Zealand's national electricity transmission system we rely on engineering solutions and use of technology to solve tricky problems, improve the ways we work, raise our standards and deliver better outcomes for the people we serve.
