Catherine joined Transpower as Chief Financial Officer in February 2022 and has been a key member of the executive team, leading the company’s financial strategy, reporting and corporate services including procurement and supply. Catherine is co-sponsor of Transpower’s Enterprise Business Capability project which includes replacing and enhancing key information systems and more recently has assumed accountability for the customer portfolio.
During her tenure, Catherine has made significant contributions across the business, with a strong focus on commercial outcomes and building operational capability and efficiency. She has strengthened financial governance and enhanced reporting frameworks to support strategic decision-making. In addition, she has led initiatives to build the company’s supply chain resilience and to strengthen its procurement policies and processes, including establishing a new warehouse at Rolleston.

Catherine’s last day with Transpower is Friday 12 December after which she will be taking a break and spending more time with family.
