Our first consultation looked at what Aotearoa will look in 2050 – our economy, our population, how we’ll live, work and play.
We did this to so that we can understand the kind of electricity infrastructure we’re going to need to support that future.
More than 100 people, primarily from industry and the energy sector, responded with written feedback during the consultation period.
We’ve used this feedback to help build five draft scenarios describing potential futures for Aotearoa.
We’re continuing to consider feedback submitted on this, so there’s still time for you to tell us what you think.
