First Mover Disadvantage (FMD) Consultation
This consultation sought feedback on our initial thinking on how the FMD problem might be addressed in the new TPM proposal. All consultation documents, submissions, cross-submissions and our summary and response document can be found below.
Consultation process
In August 2020, we released a consultation paper on options for connection charges and related provisions (all information is here). In our response to submissions and cross-submissions, we stated we would undertake further consultation on the FMD problem - recognising its complexity and importance.
On 28 October, we released a consultation paper seeking further feedback. Submissions were due by 5pm on Wednesday, 18 November 2020, followed by a one-week period for cross-submissions. Thank you to all who contributed.
