Prudent Discount Policy (PDP) Consultation
This consultation sought feedback on our initial thinking on the Electricity Authority's new TPM Guidelines, which require Transpower to expand the PDP to incorporate a new "stand-alone cost" prudent discount. All consultation documents, submissions, cross-submissions and our summary and response document can be found below.
Consultation process
On 28 October 2020, we released a consultation paper seeking feedback on our initial thinking regarding incorporating the additional "stand-alone cost" prudent discount into the PDP component of the TPM. Our consultation also included our initial thinking about changes to administrative, analytical, commercial and funding matters within the PDP. Submissions were due by 5pm on Wednesday, 18 November 2020, followed by a one-week period for cross-submissions. Thank you to all who contributed.
